Please Note
This page is an experiment.   We are planning on offering our photos in
various formats
We will also be experimenting in showing some of our site visitors' photos...
Stay tuned - we learn as we grow.   Grow with us.
Another experiment:  Individual pages for photographers - and the first will be our
good friend, Sy Simonds, a fellow Burlingtonian who has a deft hand at turning raw
photos into works of art.  So, to see some quick shots of his, click on "Sy Simonds."  I
call these quick, because I sprung this on him today.  Let's see where we go.

Who were we with?

Esopus Lighthouse
Esopus Lighthouse
on the Hudson River
taken in August of 2005.

Esopus has a very active
restoration project underway.
Note:  The Esopus
lighthouse is one of a few
remaining that are
representative of the
classic 4-square Mansard
roof houses.

Some are brick, some
clapboard.  Others are: New
London, CT; Penfield,
Fairfield, CT;
Hudson-Athens, NY; and
others.
This image of Esopus Lighthouse is also an experiment.
It is a "thumbnail" - if you click on it, a larger image should
appear.  I'm looking at  this as a way to show many
lighthouses in a small space.  That might be handy when
I get to uploading all my clouds and skies.
